Riesling is weird and not cause of the grape but because of the reputation in general. Like critics love it but consumers feel meh; like almost that there is a stigma to enjoying it. It's also a weird like gateway wine for somms (see Adam's first tattoo 'Riesling' on his arm *eye roll*). I for one LOVE Riesling. I like that is light and it is fruity and it is crisp and I can chug it down. I mean maybe we should all reconsider Riesling? This 2016 from SSON (pronounced 'son') is a really good Riesling and has a cool backstory and the winemaker doesn't make wine anymore and it's just FUN! So let's all stop hating and start loving Riesling.
