Neuburger is an old, very traditional white grape variety in Burgenland. It was not very popular in the 1990s and it almost disappeared. Judith Beck’s parents used to have 25 % of their vineyards planted with Neuburger and when she took over there was none. Judith has lovingly championed this variety with minimal intervention practices and what ends up in the glass sings.
